    A Hidden Gem in the East End – Best Turkish Food in Toronto! I rarely leave reviews, but after my second visit to Mangal Kebab House within a few months, I felt compelled to share just how exceptional this place is. As someone who has dined at over ten top-rated Turkish restaurants across the GTA, I can confidently say—this is the best Turkish food in Toronto, hands down. While the location may not be the most popular or visually appealing, and the initial greeting experience could use some polish, don’t let that fool you. You shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Once you sit down, everything changes—the food and service are simply outstanding. Each dish has full of flavors, cooked to perfection, authentic, and absolutely delicious!!! What truly sets Mangal apart is the exceptional service. Both times, we were served by Anil, and his hospitality is truly next level. Warm, attentive, and professional, he made us feel not just welcomed but genuinely cared for. His calm and respectful demeanor, paired with deep knowledge of the menu and guest expectations, is rare and refreshing. It’s not just about food here—it’s about genuine turkish hospitality. Highly recommend treating yourself to a meal at Mangal Kebab House. And if Anil is your server, you’re in for something truly special.

    We dined in for iftar (to break our fast) there was no wait as we did make reservations. There was no wait on the food either. We broke our fast on time with complimentary bread and dates. Our food came right after. Very nice atmosphere, the place is very spacious, very beautiful, and our server Mina was very nice. It was nice to hear the adhaan as well for maghreb. Our food was 10/10

    Probably the best Turkish restaurant in the city! Quality of the meat is 10/10 and they are very generous with their portions. Love the complimentary trio of dips with warm bread upon sitting down. That’s always a nice palette warmer. We ordered a mixed platter for 4, and although we were 5 people it could have easily fed 6. We also ordered a vegetarian pide. Love the ambience of this place, the way the platters are served in warming dishes so the food is never cold. Hoping to come back here again for their live music nights!

    Had such a great experience at Mangal. Was recommended by a co- worker and worth every penny spent! Definitely make a reservation before going, since it was packed and very busy when I went around 6 p.m. service was very fast and food was delicious. 10/10 recommend and will def be going back soon!

    We ordered the Karisik Izgara for 4 and I got to say from the food, service and atmosphere I was truly impressed. All the meats were juicy and flavourful. I would say the chicken skewers and lamb chops stood out the most to me. The lamb chops were so juicy and tender. The chicken skewers were seasoned to perfection. The meal comes with free naan and dips to go with it. The warming tray is hot so be careful but overall I would come back!

    Had breakfast with a group of six, and it was an absolute delight! We truly felt welcomed and taken care of. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared-though it did take a bit of time to arrive after ordering. However, once it was served, it was absolutely worth the wait. No complaints, just a fantastic meal in a great atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit!

    Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! This was our first time experience at Mangal Kebab House and definitely won't be our last! Our server Mina and the rest of the staff were very attentive and super friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone .

    We had a great dinner at Mangal Turkish Restaurant. The meat and rice platter for four was generous and delicious, with perfectly grilled beef, lamb, and chicken, served with two varieties of flavorful rice. Warm complimentary bread and three dips were served to start, and we ended the meal with complimentary tea—a nice touch. Hummus and extra dips were available at an additional cost. The ambiance was excellent, with live Turkish music adding to the atmosphere. The large dining hall felt welcoming, and the customer service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a fantastic experience—delicious food, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
